A must have 3DO title
A surprisingly advanced 3DO title sporting advanced 3D environments, plentiful enemies and weapons, as well as good music and sound. My main complaint is the first level is frustrating difficult due to the ice physics on certain parts of the floor paired with annoying enemy placement and boiling water. However the level after is much easier to move around on. Ultimately it’s an often unsung but fairly enjoyable and impressive first person 3DO game.

An unsung titan of the Sega Saturn
Rarely would I recommend paying so much money for a title but this has quickly become one of my all time favorites. The gameplay is similar to Climax's earlier title on the Sega Genesis, Landstalker, but so much more. The gameplay is fun and unique mixing action rpg elements with a fighting game that surprisingly works. The graphics are also uniquely beautiful being the closest I can think of of a 2d game in 3d if that makes any sense. The music is very catchy too. The story at first may seem hit and miss but gets extra layers of depth when you discover the parallel stories of the game (5 of them if I recall correctly.) To summarize this is, in my opinion, the reason to own a Saturn and is an excellent game for your collection.

Guardian Heroes, a valuable classic
Guardian heroes is a beautiful, fun, and engaging beat ‘em up with rpg elements. The graphics are stylized and beautiful, the gameplay can be best compared to “Castle Clashers”, and the story is fairly engaging for its genre. Despite the steep price you won’t regret having it in your Saturn collection!
