The alphabet of manliness
This book is juvenile, badly written, highly immature and most importantly, hysterical. Maddox is by no stretch of the imagination anything more than a raving lunatic. It is not remotely possible for anyone to have done anything in this book without risking incarceration, injury or both. Yet I know now I want to do it all and you will too. If you enjoy deep meaning full conversations with you wife or significant other keep well away from this book. If you would rather be down the pub with your mates, out punching gorillas (like the cover) or teasing weaker, smaller males.......and children then this my friend is the book for you. Ideal for reading on the loo, there is even a chapter dedicated to the toilet. Treat this book like an annoying friend, laugh and enjoy it, just don't take it too seriously.

Monkey Episode 1 - 13 (aka Monkey Magic)
"Achaaaaaa" "Born from an egg on a mountain top......" If like me, you find the nature of monkey irrepressible then you need this in your life. Tripitaka, Pigsy, Sandy and of course Monkey all on the epic journey to the west. I, on a visit to the Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi'an, found out that the journey to the west was an actual event immortalised into legend in typical Chinese fashion. This was made in China with a Japanese cast and dubbed by the BBC. I have been told an Australian company is/has remade the series but I have no other information other than this. This has strong Buddhist ethics attached, so if you are of the former communist block you probably have never even heard of this. If this is the case and you have an interest in religion it's worth a look But if you just want to (like me) pretend it Saturday in the 80's it's definitely worth a look. Monkey is the representation of mankind and not to be confused Hanuman! who is cool! I've just spotted the full series so I'm off to buy that too. "The funkiest monkey that ever popped...... He knew every magic written under the sun"
