Major improvements...
Significant improvements on the first two iterations of these superb n/c headphones.
Lighter weight and curvature give a more comfortable fit.
Noise cancelling is nearly perfect,with tweaks available through the sony apps.
Sound quality is also more refined,with multiple listening choices through said app.
Altogether about the best noise cancelling headphones you can buy in my opinion.

Sennheiser momentum 1.0 on ear.
Premium feel and aesthetics from quality materials,but the best aspect is the clarity of sound,which is pin sharp with no reverberation.
Not bass heavy,more refined sound reproduction from low to high frequency.
Style with quality.

Worst product Sennheiser have ever made...
Don't believe the reviews in What Wi-Fi etc etc,they rely on the continual supply of freebies from companies like Sennheiser so rarely bite the hand that feeds.
Before I start let me just say that I have had 8 pairs of Sennheiser over head phones,currently hd650 and momentum 2 over ears daily,so thought that the iem would be the same quality.
I was very wrong.
The build is awful,plastic throughout,the cables are very noisy and damage quickly,particularly around the case,and the jack is flimsy.
They are uncomfortable at best,and dont seem to have a preferred angle to make any more comfortable in the ear,and as for the supplied buds they are the worst aspect of these iem's,which takes some doing.
The sound quality is no better than Apple supplied headphones,with a distorted bass and annoying highs that hiss on 24 bit recordings.
Like a previous reviewer said,they have a clarity,but it is so infuriating to listen to I couldn't bear it for longer than half an hour.
There are much much better in ear monitors available if you are looking for quality sound,and if you must have Sennheiser,try the ie80s.
Or if you want great sound for cheap try the brass Sony 650 in ear...
