Good kit, with one exception.
It's a nice model, but I actually bought it so I could use the engine, dash and seats in a 1957 "restomod" I'm building. Surprise....this model has no engine. The hood doesn't open. Now I have to find another engine.

Inexpensive and effective.
1 of 1 found this helpful Much less costly than my last scanner, which was a Plustek. While the Plustek does come with automatic picture correction software, I find that the picture software on my HP laptop does essentially the same kind of corrections, only the scratch/spot repair has to be done manually on the Kodak.
I'm very happy with my results so far, having done both slide and negative transfers to digital.
You can select 22 or 14 megapixel prior to scanning, so the resolution is very good.
