Neil Innes returns with a new 16 track Beatle parody,picking up where the original Eric Idle-inspired "Meet the Rutles"left off.You need not have heard the original vinyl recording to appreciate the humor and creative genius of Innes,twisting familiar melodies and pairing them with typical Monty Pythonesque lyrical mayhem.The end result is a joy for any Beatle enthusiast.This Rutle collection is somewhat less balanced than the previous one,with much greater representation of Lennon-styled material.Nevertheless,this is a "must-have" for those fans who can't get enough of the Liverpool lads and need a good laugh
