Good alternative to dewalt
compared to the dewalt dw088k laser:
bosch advantages:
cheaper,
it has a spot laser feature - directly above and below;
it has the feature where you can lock the laser line so you can tilt it at an angle (the dewalt starts flashing as soon as it moves away from the flat level position)
If you are hanging the laser on the wall the accompanying wall attachment has an easier micro adjustment design compared to the dewalt
bosch disadvantages
the span of the laser line is much shorter than with the dewalt - eg the vertical line on the dewalt will extend all the way above and even a bit behind it whereas the bosch line starts from a much lower position
There is no magnet on the bosch
Overall
the bosch obviously is not ideal, but it is pretty good and i can get the job done with it

Good idea quite handy
It is okay, a good idea and does work. Could do with a spirit level for vertical installation of double boxes eg for shaver point. Don't think the flex guide is particularly useful though
