Replace and perform exactly like the original. Good to have a second set, to use while the other set is drying if washing for cleaning.

Light and comfortable (for me!)

Lightest and most compact I could find for carry -on only travel. Not top of the line but NC still helps on long flights. Very poor quality ear-pads that will fall to pieces over time and third party replacement pads are poor quality.

Poor quality.

I've used a standard size x-grip for years and it is flawless. This large one I just bought is of much lesser quality, the X doesn't move freely, lots of internal friction. Smoother after spraying a lot of lithium based lubricant, but shouldn't have to do that and still not as good/smooth as the older one. May be a one-off bad one, but it shouldn't have passsed Quality Control like it is.
