If you don't see a leak, check your expansion tank.
Make certain that your problem is a leak in the plumbing. I saw no evidence of a leak in exposed plumbing so I assumed the problem was in the plumbing under our concrete basement floor.
I had been losing about 2 pounds of water pressure per day in my baseboard boiler system. In contacting Hercules, it was recommended that I use 2 quarts for the size of my baseboard boiler system. I ran the system for nearly a month after adding the solution. The leak slowed down to losing 1 pound per day. I added 2 more quarts and after three more weeks, the leak is back to 2 pounds per day.
I later noticed that the bottom of our expansion tank was hot. In checking out the tank I found that its diaphragm bladder was leaking with water going in and out of the air chamber portion. I changed the expansion tank and my pressure problem was fixed.
