About
My retirement home was in a new development w/a HOA. The development had 5 acres of lakes & an equipment room w/air pumps to make the water good for fish & microprocessor controlled pumps for irrigation water & I ended up being the lakemechanic.

Configuration Control Disaster
Bought a 2002 used car & all four brake calipers needed replacement, so I bought
a front right, B/A PN 077-1292S,
a front left, B/A PN 077-1291S,
a rear right, B/A PN 077-1494S &
a rear left, B/A PN 077-1493S.
The OEM calipers have two different pins, a leading one that is bare metal with three little flats to help the lubricant move around & a trailing one that is similar except it has a rubber bushing close to the tip.
the front right had two leading pins,
the front left also had two leading pins,
the rear right also had two leading pins &
the rear left had two trailing pins.
Swapped the rear pins around to get the correct configuration & B/A shipped the front trailing pins.
B/A supplied new brake fluid inlet bolts & thick hard copper washers. I torqued them to the 22 ft-lb that the OEM specifies. All leaked. Still leaked at 25 ft-lbs. 28 ft-lbs & the leaking ended.
Zero out of four were correctly rebuilt.

The Real Deal
HP doesn't make them anymore, so it's either old stock (this), rebuilt, 2nd party, refill one's old one, or get a new printer. I'm happy with my antique HP LaserJet 2200tdn printer, so that choice is out. Over the years I've done all the others & I've had the best results with the real deal, aka genuine HP.

Works!
Upgraded to a used Moto G, 4th Generation & the charging cable wouldn't transfer data. Bummer! Apparently they save bucks by leaving some wires out of the charging cables, but this has them all. It let me take data off my old 1st Generation Moto G & put it on the 4th Generation & my whole MP3 collection to boot! Highly recommended.
