Good start bass but be prepared to invest in it
I recommend this bass for beginners not sure whether they want to stick with it, and therefore are reluctant to pay $1,500-$2,000 for a mainstream instrument just to find out. I fit in that category.
But be warned that you will likely have to invest money into this instrument to get it playable. Mine came with strings too high to play easily and with buzzing on the E string. I paid $300 to have it set up correctly, then paid another $225 for Thomastik spirocore strings.
It now plays and sounds great. If you're on a budget, you can hold off on the new strings, as the ones that come with it are acceptable. I also installed a pickup, which further boosts and massage the sound, making it a giggable instrument.
You're taking a chance with a cheap bass, but I'm glad I did. This will serve me well for a year or two while I find out how much I like it and learn how to play it. At that point, if I'm still into it, I may upgrade to a mainstream instrument. Or perhaps I'll just keep it and enjoy it for many years.

Great for drum newbies
I'm new to drumming and am very happy with this drum set. It's excellent for learning due to its realistic sounds and playability, built-in metronome and coaching function. My wife loves that I can play through headphones and not bother her. I like that I can patch in tunes or another instrument and play along, recording everything on the unit's SD card.
Just a couple minor quibbles: 1) It was more trouble to assemble than it should have been due to less than clear instructions. 2) Many of the 50 built-in kits sound similar. I would have preferred more variety, including world percussion sounds. But you do have the ability to create 50 kits of your own if you want.
Heads up: this set does not come with a hi-hat stand, kick drum pedal, throne or sticks. I bought my set on eBay from Kraft, which threw in the stand, pedal, throne and sticks for free.
