Nice design, useless adhesive
Nice minimalist way to secure a kayak pump under the deck. Carefully prepped surface inside kayak by cleaning well with 99% alcohol, but even so the adhesive that comes on the plastic anchors lasted exactly one day. I will now remove the adhesive (peels off pretty easily from the plastic anchors) and use Marine Goop or epoxy instead. Make sure when you place the anchors that your toes won't hit them when your feet are on the foot pegs.

Warmth and comfort with a harder sole
I was looking for an over-the dry-suit-sock bootie that had a hard enough sole to keep the bottoms of my feet from hurting against the footpegs on long paddles. Love the fit and sticky sole of the FiveTen Water Tennies, but the mesh lets in way too much grit, which was damaging the Gore-Tex socks on my dry suit. The NRS ATBs are a bit bulkier than the Water Tennies, but they still fit in my kayak, keep out grit, and being made of neoprene rather than mesh, are warmer. Fit and high quality are similar to other NRS booties, such as the (now discontinued) Cross 4. Very easy to get on and off, and the velcro strap does a good job of keeping your feet from slipping around inside the booties, but I still wouldn't want to use them for a long hike.
