Heartfelt, Funny, and Cultural Acceptance and Understanding

Salmon Fishing in the Yemen is a movie that embraces and accepts a different culture and worldview than our own. The movie is about two people coming together to achieve a common goal: bringing salmon to the desert in Yemen so the people of that country can enjoy the sport of fly fishing. Along the way, the two main characters( Ewan McGregor and Emily Blunt) experience hardship and loss, but persevere through it all to complete what they set out to do. Along the way they also grow closer. To counter the hardships that occur, there's the perfect amount of humor and awkwardness to lighten up the mood. An all around excellent job from the director to the screenwriters to the actors including great performances by Ewan McGregor, Emily Blunt, Amr Waked, and Tom Mison. It teaches us that despite having a different view of the world, we are all human beings. This is even more important with what is happening in the world today.

An Entertaining and Engaging Ride

This is one of the best shows on TV! Following an excellent first season, the second season doesn't miss a beat. There's quick-witted humor, action, adventure, and drama. Combine that with actors who have excellent chemistry who are able to play off each other,which creates humorous banter and dialogue, makes the show even more entertaining and engaging for the audience. Witty, clever, humorous, entertaining, and engaging show!
