Best espresso
I was reluctant to shell out this much money for a stovetop espresso maker. I've been a Bialetti owner for years and it makes decent coffee, but after the last one died a slow death I decided to try an Alessi. Wow. The coffee is phenomenal. I lived in Italy for some years and this is the closest I have come to replicating the coffee there. It's a little tricky to figure out how to open it, since you lift the handle rather than unscrewing the bottom, but coffee does not spatter all over the stove or drip down the sides while brewing, and the machine itself is a thing of beauty. Try an Alessi you will never go back!
