    About

I have been a seller on ebay since late 1997, and I have had three accounts here during that time, all of them with 100% feedback as I write this in June of 2021. I am not a big seller, but over the years I have had about 4000 transactions.

Great communication! The item received was cosmetically better than the one listed because USPS lost the first package and the seller had to ship another one; will definitely purchase from this seller again. Also, the magnets were far stronger than I expected; a good thing!

USPS took 3 weeks to deliver, but the item was as advertised; seller recommended.

Survey of the New Testament, A (4th Edition) by Gundry, Robert H.
    04 May, 2022
I have several Surveys of the N.T., but I like Gundrys' the Best
It is written in an easy to read style, yet Gundry's great scholarship show through. It is lavishly illustrated, and is suitable for beginners as well as the more serious. I liked it well enough that I have purchased 5, one for me and 4 to give away!
Fujifilm FinePix S Series S1 16.4MP Digital Camera - Black
    17 Jul, 2017
Had no idea cameras were this good a this price point.
This is my 7th digital camera. Before I bought this one I made a list of 21 features I really wanted, but are often lacking on digital cameras. This had all but one of those features (I wanted it to use AA batteries, this does not). It has many other features that are great, but not on my list of must haves. If you want a camera will lots of feature and a fair price, investigate this one. the 50X optical zoom is amazing. The camera is very rugged, and is dust & weather seal, a nice feature I was not looking for. I read online, that the images have noise in them, maybe that was true at the time of older reviews, or maybe I just good a good one. Going to put two images with this review. One shows two pictures of the same view, but at extremes of it's zoom - 24mm & 1200mm as 35mm equivalents, looking at a house, and zoomed into a drive way lamp, notice the detail in the zoomed part of that view. The other picture is of the moon, this was without the use of a tripod, not retouching, and no auxiliary lenses just a point and shoot picture, not perfect, but pretty darned good.

Olympus SP Series SP-620UZ 16.0 MP Digital Camera - Black (SP-620)
    19 Jun, 2017
    Decent camera, but flawed.
bought this, as an upgrade to my Olympus SP-550UZ 7 point 1 MP They seemed to be aimed at the same market, but I did not pay close enough attention to the details. That I my fault, I just presumed, that this was basically the same camera, with more Megapixels, and few other major changes. I will give it credit, the exposure is good, the range of image sizes is really useful. The optical zoom is awesome. What I like also, is that it uses AA batteries, I hate expensive proprietary batteries. This camera, uses SD memory, whereas my old 550, uses XD memory, very hard to find at a decent price. What I wish was different: My old camera, has a viewfinder, this camera does not, only has the rear screen. The major drawback to this, is it is very difficult to see the screen in bright sunlight, making the composure difficult. The camera body, seems very cheaply built, unlike my 550. To be honest, if the battery / memory door has not been broken in a year, I will be very surprised. Another thing, is the location of the on / off power button. For shooting purposes, it is fine. However, when trying to open or close the battery / memory access door, frequently one accidently activates the camera, and the lens extends, getting ready for a shot. With time, I will develop the habit of holding the camera awkwardly. In the meantime, I am probably endangering the lens motor mechanism. The lens cap, is all but useless, it will not stay on the lens - how does a manufacturer not get that right? Where the 550 had nice dials, which made it easy to set to different modes, etc, this camera has difficult to navigate menus. I am sure that made sense to Olympus when cutting costs, but to anyone that does not use the camera very frequently, it makes using the camera difficult. Too much one needs to memorize. One thing that really bugs me about this, and most digital cameras . . . why is there no hot shoe for a flash, or any shoe at all? It would be one thing if the cameras had decently powerful flashes built in, but they pretty much stink! Bottom line, if you want a camera that takes excellent pictures, has many great features and very good optical zoom and a decent pixel count, at a reasonable price, this could be for you, as long as you do not mind that it is hard to learn to use and is cheaply made in terms of consumer concern..
