iPhone 7 4.7" Rear Camera Glass Lens Replacement

Everything you need without the mess of silicon
The adhesive ring confused me as I couldn't initially figure out how to separate it from the backing ! The ring is not sandwiched like the lens, just lift the ring of glue and it's brown protective covering off the yellow backing, no need to peel anything off the backing ! I followed a YouTube guide but essentially you heat up the old lens with a hair dryer to soften the adhesive. Carefully remove the remains of the old lens and any adhesive from the phone making sure to keep any bits from falling into the lens and without touching the lens. Once the old lens and glue are removed, position the glue ring in place on the phone then, remove one side of the lens protective film place it into position and press firmly down onto the glue. The lens cover has two sides, the gloss black side goes to the outside. The YouTube video uses silicon sealant which, in my experience of using it for other tasks is a recipe for disaster given that it gets everywhere no matter how careful you are. The glue ring supplied in this kit is a LOT cleaner and no danger of contamination.
Labgear EM1001 SD & HD Digital Encoder RF Modulator DVB-T with HDMI Loop Out

    Another great Labgear product...
I bought this to use with a BT branded Youview PVR so we can watch it on the various TVs around the house. The only issue I had with it initially was that it seemed to be blocking out the broadcast channels but that was resolved when I turned the gain down to minimum. It may be because I already have a signal booster/processor in the loft that distributes the signal to all the rooms in the house. I also had an issue with one, very old, TV that doesn't support mpeg4 so only played the audio. Signal quality is excellent throughout the house, getting a clear picture on all the TVs. The built in HDMI pass through on the later model EM1001 is a real bonus as it saves adding yet another box to split the HDMI signal.
