Mediocre VCR

Sony Universal control doesn't work it well, only basic features work on vcr. Sorry I bought it.

Not Backward compatible!!

I have been using TEMPer and TEMPer2 products for several years now. While I have encountered a number of minor problems (nothing insurmountable) The new ones are unusable for me! They come with new, updated software. I don't like the new software. Their completely stupid mistake it the new units WONT WORK WITH THE OLD SOFTWARE! Why, oh, why would they not make their new units backward compatible?
