Good if You Shop Wisely
Really good radios in their day for security teams etc., sadly no longer manufactured by Motorola. Still a great product if you can get them in decent shape - most used ones have REALLY been used. Look for used radios that don't have scratches on the display and the buttons are not worn down (icons are still easy to see). A bit longer range than many radios that claim this same range - but still only about 1-2 miles in the city. ("35 mile range" is ONLY if both stations are on mountaintops with clear weather and nothing but air between LOL.) You might have trouble finding battery packs and charging stations, but they run great on 3 rechargeable AA batteries. Belt clips are still easy to find which is good because they easily break if you don't pay attention to what you're doing. When originally released some of the channels were on the free FRS frequencies and some were considered GMRS and required a license - since the 2017 change ALL of these channels at this radio's power are considered FRS: NO LICENSE NEEDED.

1 of 1 found this helpful We've been fans of Bunn coffemakers nearly 30 years. In fact, this unit is a replacement for one we've had for almost 15 years. Obviously, we can't complain about product life LOL! Bunns work great - you get your coffee FAST and at the correct temperature! You can't go wrong with Bunn, and especially at these prices. Our new unit is attractive - and it WORKS.
