I ordered this rod, and talked my nephew into buying two. The rods are micro which I didn't know, but they cast ok. I've used mine twice and mine is OK. My nephew got his two in this week, and took his son out today to fish. He made one cast with one rod, and it broke in the cast about have way up from the handle. So no I would not buy another one of these. It was a good price, but not a good value if it breaks.
