Cheap plastic rubbish
3 of 4 found this helpful You get what you pay for with this product. I should not have allowed myself to be persuaded by all the good reviews. I will be surprised if it lasts a week. There are no instructions. The legs are difficult to open & close, and when closed block most of the light. The legs are unstable when open & do not rest on your knee effectively. When placed on a table the magnifying area is too high to look down on effectively. The neck string is thin and elastic offering no stability when round your neck. The magnifying plastic is distorted except for an approximate area of 2inchs square so is not helpful for reading a letter or a book. The battery compartment cover is fiddly & poor quality. Basically, it's not fit for purpose, but then for the price including postage, what can you expect 🤷
