Surprisingly easy to use
I was worried about mixing my own lacquer to dye clear lacquer black, but Mixol is a surprisingly easy product to use. It's 5 parts paint or lacquer to 1 part Mixol to get the desired intensity of color. I will eventually use Mixol for staining projects as well. Excellent product!

Hoover's Next Generation Carpet Cleaner is a Wonder!
I had a much older model of the Hoover Power Scrub when it finally broke, so I got this one. WOW!! It's a dream! It's so much lighter and easier to use! Also, I like the brush head much better on this model; it covers more area and does a much better job on worn-in stains. It's top-notch for pet stains, and I like how it spins up the cat hair and spits it back out into a compact little ball that you can just pick up (and this was captured AFTER vacuuming, so the brush is scrubbing deep!) My only criticism is that it takes A LOT of soap per wash (I went through 16 oz like it was nothing). Oh, and I love the rinse cycle. Our old carpet looks and feels brand-new again. I'm very pleased!
