  Item was refunded after it arrived shattered in many pieces due to poor packaging. I had contacted the seller in advance about double boxing the item. As far as packaging, the platter was wrapped in Saran wrap with a couple of pieces of paper and deflated air pockets stuffed in the box. The interior box was just placed inside a flimsy Amazon box with no additional packaging material to ensure safe delivery. I do not recommend this seller for anything fragile.
