Very very very noisy

It boils as quick as any other kettle and pours without dripping and is very pretty, but my god is it noisy. I thought there was something wrong with it at first. It's like a raging torrent when it starts boiling, crackling, spitting, you can't hear yourself think or have a conversation in the kitchen when it's boiling. To be honest it's the loudest kettle I've ever owned and I'm 64. I'll be getting rid soon. Be warned. For that reason alone it gets one star!!!!
