Burned skin and scars
1 of 1 found this helpful I used this with gel and it still zapped/burned me. Have 3 inch thin scar on one cheek now. Can't recommend. Not the seller's fault, I'd say the manufacturer needs to tweak this machine a bit.
Bummer, really wished it did what it stated it's purpose was for. I do a lot of dermabrasion so the scar will be gone in a few months, but I'd be aware of what it might do to your skin before purchasing. I tested it on my arm first, and initially it was ok on face, but about the 3rd time I used it it left a long thin burn from one of it's edges going from my mouth upwards towards my cheekbone.
So, yea, if you get this be careful. I tossed mine. No way I want more burns and scars on my face. Was trying to lift and firm not slash and burn. Kinda counter productive to my reason for getting this.

Easy to use, be careful not to leave in one spot too long trying to get rid of a blackhead, or you'll end up with a hickey on the end of your nose or forehead. No, serious. You'd be surprised at how much dead skin ends up in the filter pads if you don't exfoliate regularly.
Since I've never exfoliated on a regular basis, I'm probably using this more often than most (almost every day), I use the less abrasive tips most of the time, at least for the time being. I disinfect tips by cleaning in 70% alcohol, and a clean toothbrush for scrubbing abrasive tip ends.
Have used on a neighbor, and it also does a lovely job on her face and neck skin....tho be warned, it will remove your tan in one or two uses. But, the skin underneath the tan is beautiful, pink and fresh.
I have large pores on nose area, and after about 3 wks, about half the enlarged pores are diminished greatly between the abrasive tips and the suction I can adjust to less suction to use around the thin eye area skin.
I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to exfoliate and smooth skin and clean up blackheads. Good product, easy to use, reasonably priced, delivered in about a week, good packing (nothing was destroyed in shipping) and delivers results in improved skin. One warning, don't use this for the first time right before a big event. Why? as you remove thin layers of skin, it will reveal zits and imperfections just beneath the surface that were ready to surface. If you keep up on exfoliating on a wkly or slightly more often basis, you won't notice this as much, but initially you'll be surprised at how much crap is right beneath the surface of your skin.
One of my better purchases, and if you want to improve your skin health and appearance I highly recommend. I'm in my 50's, and my skin cell turnover rate isn't what it was 30 yrs ago, so this makes a huge difference in my skin's appearance and health. After I use to exfoliate, I follow with an excellent moisturizer with good active ingredients.
If you are prone to back or shoulder blackhead issues the suction tips might work well for that if you have a friend willing to do the work on your back. Haven't tried it for that as I don't have those issues, but would be worth a shot if that's your case. I really love this device, use it often, and can clearly see the difference. If you buy this device, take before and after pictures, you'll see a difference as well.
