Original part
About 5x the price of the cheaper stuff from China but it’s not expensive and worth having the shiny badge on it

Watch out on the big Amp claims
Unit arrived today - it only has 12AWG cables coming off it and by spec these are rated at 20A ONLY but the description says rated to 75Amp continuous, 150Amp instant. As a result it’s really only good for quick monitoring higher loads while you are there in front of it to ensure the cables don’t burn out, and can’t be left in permanently if amps are higher than 20Amps. This will suit most solar installs from the panel to the battery or smaller loads, but not for anything more than about 250Watts.
The unit will only power on when the source voltage is above 4.2v. You can wire a separate supply to it (4.2 to 60v) so it can measure voltages down to zero, but it doesn’t suit a use case to be inline with a single or multiple in parallel lithium cells without external power. Adding external power requires a connector that doesn’t come with the device so that makes it far more difficult. If you are measuring 12/24/36/48 systems it won’t be an issue but if you are measuring individual lithium cells it will need external power and is probably not well suited to the task.
