The only cookery book you will ever need!

This book is one of the best traditional cookery books, covering all the basics in handy sections such as meat cookery, preserving, wine and cider making, baking etc. For each item it has a blueprint recipe, then hints on variations, with some suggested menus at the end. It does use imperial measurements, and some of the recipes are a bit of the times (fancy a 1970's style wine and cheese party?). But don't be put off by this. It is my main cookery book, and I still refer to it for reminders, just made the best ever sage and onion stuffing! Now my daughter has set up her own home it was my first gift to her, with a handy conversion table tucked inside the cover.

Sharp

Ebay invited me to review a saw blade, honestly what can I say! It is round and sharp and it fits into my vintage electric Black and Decker saw perfectly. It cuts wood which is just what it is supposed to do. It is much better than my old blade which had got blunt, but then it was over 30 years old.
