Contax AX a winner
2 of 2 found this helpful I previously had bought 4 Contax RX bodies and was very pleased with all of them and had not ever considered the AX.
Well, I'm going to have get a couple more AXs because the autofocus feature works very well and with my advancing (76) years my eyes don't focus like they used to.
The AX is heavy especially with the Zeiss 28-85 zoom but it is manageable.
I heartily recommend it to all lovers of Contax....

Very impressive and usable lens
This is a very beautiful lens that is well-made and very sharp. An equivalent Zeiss Contax lens is about $2,000. Only negative is its weight, which is quite hefty, and lack of tripod connection. It is handholdable, barely.

Almost perfect
2 of 2 found this helpful When this came out in 2007 it was state-of-the-art with 3 hdmi inputs and about 9 analog imputs and very serious surround sound capabilities, a USB port and much more. Its original price was $1700. I bought it to replace a 1982 Yamaha A1000 that was then its top-of-the-line and last me only 34 years before dying....
