Have watched this movie several times :)
This movie has it all - suspense, courage under impossible odds, determination regardless of cost to the individuals...I love it!
Watch it, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

See it, if you like these two actors
I have seen this movie a few times, and I have loved it each time. This time, I watched it with my adult daughter, who wasn't sure she was going to enjoy it, but I assured her she would love it and want to watch it again. She did love it! This is Melanie Griffiths in a great role before "plastic". She plays a great role in this movie, and paired with Michael Douglas, I can't imagine others doing these two roles.

Remake as good as the original
Even if you saw this version without seeing the original with Hayley Mills, as a young girl, you won't be disappointed. This version with a very young Lindsay Lohan, is every bit as good as the original. It's funny and charming, with great messages about friendship, resolving conflict, repairing relationships, loyalty, forgiveness....great movie for kids and adults alike. :D
