Very delicate. Be Gentle.
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought two of these, and both broke or dulled within a few minutes of cutting acrylic. After speaking with the seller, these are quite brittle and the acrylic is "grabby", after inspecting both tools; it tore the diamond completely out of one and tore the tip off the other. These are better suited for harder, less gummy materials like brass, glass, or aluminum. Stick with the 90 or 120 degree tools for plastics. They did produce a nice line while sharp and there is very little play between the tool and the collet. Very cool they offer a well made product at this price and still fabricate in the USA!

Won't engrave Acrylic without breaking or going dull.
2 of 3 found this helpful Not a happy customer. 30 minutes after using two tips on Cast Acrylic at 50 IPM and only .125 inch of engagement in the spring and one is dull on half of the bit and the other the diamond fell out. These are absolute garbage, I will not be purchasing again. I could imagine if I was using them on steel, or even a soft metal like aluminum, but Cast acrylic, come on.
