Estee Lauder (which owns La Mer) tests on animals!
8 of 12 found this helpful Like all La Mer products, this performs well; the lotion is a lighter alternative to the cream.
HOWEVER, I have just learned that La Mer is owned by Estee Lauder, which tests its products on animals.
Therefore I will never purchase a La Mer product again, and I would urge anyone who is concerned about animal suffering to reconsider purchasing these products.

Mediocre overall
The presentation is pretty, and the fragrance makes a nice initial impression, with a prominent and lush rose note. But sillage and longevity are so-so, and the scent profile morphs into something quite generic after a short while.
