Curing times slow but does cure with no issues.
3 of 3 found this helpful I have read the reviews and took a punt on this anyway as spoke to a paint guy I know who mixed stuff he explained that these tins he thinks are pre activated with only a tiny amount of activator so can take a little longer to cure.
Anyway I looked as per instructions and followed to the dot and shaked the can for 3 mins as I believe this is we're others are going wrong.
The activator be it very small amount probably seperates due to its composite and lays on the surface of the lacquer. I feel if you give it a real good shake it allows the activator to fully mix to allow full curing.
Others have stated after weeks the lacquer still hasn't dried? Well by me following instructions it dried in 2 days to a cure with fingerprint test temperatures at the moment are not ideal either.
I am not saying the paint is perfect however it leaves a lovely shine but I felt the paint laid out to thick and left a fairly orange peeled surface however once dried it infact got a little better but not perfect.
I will leave now for 90 days to allow the paint to fully expoliate and dry fully as again I read other reviews and people are trying to flat this paint after 3 days when they are saying it wasn't fully cured anyway. Paint requires time to breath to allow harden right through.
I have worked with paint for many years and feel because of this paints nature it's a slower than 2k activation because little activated mixture in content.
Like all paint each are different but most don't like being worked after unless under IR light to allow full curing. If you want to buy a paint that you can get the job done fast buy a 1k acrylic it will dry much faster, however if you want to buy a paint that will be more hard wearing to the elements but don't mind waiting before flatting and polishing buy this.
I'm overall happy I will be flatting and polishing with g3 in 90 days but for now I have already hung the painted panels on the car.

Great fit superb look
1 of 1 found this helpful These are far better than the internal window type that usually fall out. They are a slim profile and look superb on the car. Even better that the rear window is finished to even out the lines. The adhesive sticks well gives the car a far better look and also helps by having windows on a jar rather than sun when raining etc. Also prevents switches getting when when using screen wash when windows down. I rate these highly superb.

Parts fit pefect
I bought the front and rear mudguards for my exterior design pack as fed up with mud going up the side of the car in the winter months, the quality of fitment is perfect, fit great to around the sill cover and perfectly inside the arch area should help with stopping the dirt.
Overall appearance is great look as good as oem at a fraction of the price and have the dimpled finish as per originals. They finish the sills off nice I would recommend
