Said used but it was practically new and works great. Perfect replacement for the one I had that broke.

Did I get a dud?
1 of 1 found this helpful Who knows why, but the transmission power on this thing was aggravatingly weak. On select channels, I could hear the faint whispers of the song I was trying to play from my device (plugged in completely, volume up), but never was it even close to the quality I was used to in past products. A while back I had the iTrip that plugged right into the butt of your iPod, which worked as well as I could have expected, and after that I bought a Universal Trasnmitter from Coby and was extremely pleased with it. I only had to stop using it because the cord frayed so much, and these days the price of a new one is egregious. So I went with a Griffin, a reputable brand, but this thing just sucked. Plain and simple. I don't live in a terribly large town, and my last transmitter had no issues here, so I'm left to think it was a faulty model or the product is sub-par. I'd say just foot the bill for a new Scosche that has aux / bluetooth connectivity, and get it new so there's a reasonable return policy.
