Great compact flaring tool
1 of 1 found this helpful I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to do an in-situ flare.
I bought this tool to join some brake pipes under a complicated car,
I already have an expensive flaring tool that goes in the vice that works on any pipe, but can’t use it in-situ, I have also tried the cheap g-glamp style ones to join under the car which do work on copper pipe but never seem to work on steel. However this neat compact in-situ tool worked great on my steel pipes and you can fit in quite small gaps, very pleased and would recommend it to anyone

TERRIBLE QUALITY, WILL NEVER EVER WORK ON MOTORBIKE CHAINS
4 of 4 found this helpful I bought this chain riveter because i thought Sealey products were decent quality, I was wanting to replace my motorbike chain, after reading previous reviews it was clear you couldn't expect this tool to press out the original rivets so i used a grinder to remove the original chain, when fitting the new chain the riveter was struggling to even make an impression on the new soft link i was trying to rivet over, after several attempts by myself and another mechanic we realized the riveting pin was bent and crumpled inside the main shaft, eventually the threads also stripped and i was left with the motorbike off the road until i could get a better quality tool, the riveter is now in the bin and i have completely wasted £30, there were other tools that looked identical for £10 but thought the Sealey one would be a lot better, how wrong. It may well work on small pushbike chains but it will never ever work on a motorbike chain. Very poor quality
