Frigidaire 50 pt dehumidifier
3 of 3 found this helpful It's a very quiet and effective dehumidifier. But it takes a lot of fiddling to get it to work with the continuous drain. To start with, the passage in the hose extension is too constricted. I had to drill it out. Then the unit has to be positioned just exactly right, or the condensate will overflow into the bucket, defeating the point of having a drain. I also found that it will drain more reliably if I connect the hose with a vertically oriented "T", with the hose at the bottom of the T and the top of the T open to the atmosphere. But once it's modified and positioned, it works very well.
