Why platinum?
As a disabled person who has difficulty walking, I get a lot of problems with my feet. I can go for weeks, or months, where I cannot wear shoes and have to wear sandals or even flip-flops. As the seasons change, this results in different problems at different times. On occasion, my heels can get severe, deep cracks that get worse and worse and often result in my feet bleeding as I walk. Basic Flexitol is great for ordinary maintenance on my feet, but once they've really deteriorated, I can end up in hospital for prolonged treatment.
A podiatrist recommended that I use Flexitol Platinum rather than the standard product and, in the last two years that I have been using it, I have not needed to visit the hospital. I am able to keep cracking to a minimum myself and just require a visit to the podiatrist every 8 - 10 weeks for a check-up.
There is no other product that is able to stop and repair my heels that I am aware of, and believe me, I've tried a lot!!! So, if you have severe cracking or extensive hard skin problems on your feet, there is no better product that I have been able to find.

Excellent all round!
It's possible to purchase batteries with the same specifications as these, but with a "big" name attached to them, and pay an awful lot more for the privilege. I've bought three sets of these now, for different wheelchairs/scooters, and never been disappointed with their quality and/or longevity. The last set I purchased lasted twice as long as those that came with a £9k wheelchair, had exactly the same staying power, and were less than the cost of one of the originals. This latest pair have been on the buggy for just a few weeks and are already up to full power and allowing the user to spend a day shopping, including travelling to and from the shops, without any worry about the power dropping off and leaving her stranded. To sum up: they are excellent value, well made and long-lasting batteries and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Excellent quality filter
The difference in the water quality from this filter is amazing! Our tap water is almost undrinkable due to chemical taste and calcium, but this filter removes it all. In the kitchen, our kettle would become useless after a year or so because of the calcium build up, but after buying this filter and a new kettle, there is no evidence of any calcium. The filter is well designed and a sturdy construction, and I just wish I'd bought it earlier!
