Does what was what i had hoped for.
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this to to keep my Motorola phone running strava all day when touring. Have only tried for a one day ride. I had the display on all the time as well as the GPS and mobile data. phone did not gain charge but did maintain the charge level throughout whole day. I only cycle at an average,very slow, 8mph so could not expect any more. How it will cope with wet days I am not sure, I have mounted it under the saddle with the USB socket facing down but that's no guarantee the rain wouldn't get to it. . I am running it off an old cheap bottle dynamo. There was little noticeable additional drag when using it.
Works way better than the large (20cm x 300cm) solar panel that I was using. I will still use the solar panel to top up the charge when camping and not travelling.

Good quality parasol
