Waste of Money
Wether it's the app (which by the way gets a very bad review) or the device - it's terrible. Goes off randomly. Works occasionally when trying to locate my iphone from device. Separation alert works now and again. Tried to re-pair, bought new battery but still the same. Don't waste your time. One star is too much.

Big Kid Again
The last time I had an R2D2 was in 1978. I was a six inch model which I made myself from a kit. This takes me back so many years. I feel like a big kid and lovin' every minute of it. Sturdy and heavy item and really easy to control and set up with the app.
