  Hi, thank you for your candid feedback. I do personally apologize for the flaw in the product that can be percieved as sign of wear. However, I want to personally guarantee that both pairs of size 9 Vans were purchased brand new directly from Vans' official website. The size 9 pairs were never tried and worn once delivered and went into storage for inventory right away. I do think the discoloration on the bottom sole was poor craftsmanship, and unfortunately it was clearly present on both pairs.
