So good I bought two more
High quality article, very pleased with the first two I purchased so I bought two more for a second bike. Old ones were tired and perished whereas these are so much more secure.

So much better than the old 'touch pad' remote
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this to replace the terrible early version touch pad remote that came with the early SkyQ boxes. A quick simultaneous press and hold of buttons 1 & 3 and it connected immediately. Then it guides you through the TV set up process to allow you to control volume. Tech as it should be, intuitive and reliable.

Smaller than many, but at a small cost
I recently bought a Nextcam dashcam 512 and needed a mount for our second car. I read on the web the Transcend unit would fit with the slightest modification (file the end stop of the mounting point slightly), and it would fit and work with the release mechanism. Thankfully it does, and it's smaller than the Nextbase mount meaning the camera doesn't sit so far down the screen. However, ther is a small price to pay for the smaller unit, it's not quite so robust with this heavier dashcam so you have to work harder with the knurled dials to tighten it up sufficiently to carry the extra weight. Otherwise it's a resounding success.
