A great improvement!
Larger than stock horn, so had to find mounting spot on my '11 Victory XC. Low and sheltered behind chin fairing and battery, but able to point forward and tilt down to allow for potential wet events. I will probably relook the location, as I had to mount with connector side out. Very loud, definitely an improvement over the stock pancake horn. Highly recommend, a good value for $25 and change.

2004 Yamaha V Star 1100 Silverado
1 of 1 found this helpful It was time to move to more comfortable/powerful scoot. Also have '00 Vulcan 750, not the greatest on long rides, although a great around town bike or for moderate commuting, great mpg. Compared to the Star, it almost feels like a sport bike of sorts.
Star so far is great, and I got a really good deal. Lot of accessories available, OEM and aftermarket both. Nice riding bike, plenty of roll-on power from about 50 mph, might have to kick it down one notch under 45. Handles well, not as nimble as 750 obviously, about 200 #'s heavier and longer wheelbase. I had the opportunity to purchase a new '07 1100 Silverado, dealer offered a super deal, (really!) but I liked the color of the '04 better, plus 1st owner never rode much; 3K on speedometer when I picked it up. He added Cobra pipes, rejetted carbs, bike sounds and runs excellent.
Overall good looks, Yamaha reliability and engineering, never seen anything bad about any of the Star models. It was a good decision, and I recommend this model motorcycle as a worthwhile purchase.

It's a hitch, not much else to say!
Heavy duty steel, quality appears very good. I mounted using supplied hardware, and added two additional smaller bolts thru the provided slotted area to provide lateral stability. A worthwhile purchase, allows me to keep the ball on my atv to move my larger utility trailer(s) around.
