DING DONG1 What's not to like about these exquisite tubular bells?
1 of 1 found this helpful This review is for both the Symphony L8 AND the Moonlight chimes as we bought them both. We had already ordered the 72" 'Symphony L8' one to hang in our Bramley Apple Tree and wanted a smaller version with chimes that would complement it to hang from the house wall by our patio opposite the apple tree. I compared the notes of all available and listened to the chimes playing together on Stannard's own website (For those who think Stannard has gone bust and these are cheap, knock off Chinese chimes, As I read in Amazon reviews - Neither is true) and I'm glad I did because when the wind blows the sound of the two chiming together is crystal clear and exquisite. The sound quality of the 'Symphony L8' chimes is deep and almost cathedral like, The 'Moonlight' less deep but equally pleasing. Please note that neither set of chimes has 8 different notes in each! They are not defective in having more than one of the same note, As others have thought. That's not how these chimes work. Neither will or should the 'Moonlight' chime play 'The Moonlight Sonata' (Clair de Lune) as I read in another review (It was returned because it didn't!). There's as much chance of that as there is of 100 monkeys in a room with typewriters typing out the entire works of Shakespeare if left long enough! We love everything about these. They look quality. They sound quality. They ARE quality. Thank you for these lovely additions to our garden sanctuary. :)

Perfect size for a 2lb loaf
Perfect size for a home-made 2lb loaf. It's lighweight but sturdy, the lid is easy to remove and put on, it doesn't smell plasticky and taint what is kept in it. Good size for biscuits, scones, sandwiches, muffins, picnic goodies. Excellent and just what I was looking for.

Perfect!
I bought this CD for the track Yesterdays To Come having tracked it down using a song finding app and the closing song from the BBC Strike Series 2 when I just couldn't get it out of my head. I was thrilled to find it on Ebay brand new and at a very good price. The whole CD is a psychedelic delight and just gets better and better as you listen to it over and over again. Trippy wonderful music with a haunting element to Ulrika Bjorsne's lovely voice. I liked this so much I immediately ordered their first album and that doesn't disappoint either. Go for it. You won't be disappointed!
