Struggle for Sea Power fascinating read
A lengthy read, but covers the globe in its description of the naval side of the American War of Independence. Plenty to interest historians and naval enthusiasts.

Hours of fun
I first came across this book over 30 years ago, when I bought a copy so I could play the games with my daughter. Over the years it helped rainy days pass quickly and solved the "i'm bored" problem many parents face. More recently it has been taken from retirement to entertain our grandchildren, who show the same enthusiasm for the games my daughter did all those years ago. The copy I purchased was for my niece, who has a very active 5 year old who likes plenty of attention.

Does the job
Good quality model, but I am not keen on the metal masts which are actually not as effective as the plastic ones as used in the smaller vessels nof this product range; ie they bend, but do not flex back.
