With so many choices of handheld gadgets now, e.g. iPod touch, palmtop, netbooks etc. the 5MX is still popular today as it was when it first came out. It only takes a look on eBay to confirm this, with examples still commanding prices of between £65-170. even now. It is a fantastic piece of kit, full qwerty keyboard, and a great way to introduce people of all ages to computers. As I know myself, this was the case in my introduction, i got familiar with files and folders, and to the operating system, that it helped me to get a job using computers, which I think I would not have kept if I couldn't have had a basic knowledge in the first place. OK, so it hasn't got the bells and whistles that other gadgets have these days, and only basic apps. But apart from that check out the Sheet app, and you have a great spreadsheet, word, database all in one unit. Overall, a great iconic computer. Grab a good second hand example and see for yourself. Good doesn't fit😟
Good doesn't fit, adaptor ring doesn't fit properly, only the lens cap and CPL filter are good, overall build quality is very good though.
