Quietest disposal ever
Disposal is powerful and very quiet. I installed it myself in a new Ruvati stainless sink which is a very solid sink. I've installed disposals a few times before and would say this one was not any more difficult than any other brand. To illustrate how quiet this thing is, after installing, I called my wife in to test it out. She reached for the switch not realizing I already had it running. She couldn't hear it and she does not have a hearing problem. It is not much louder when grinding soft foods. The only negative I have to say about this disposal is that the seal provided (for between the rim and sink opening) is so thin it is useless. The instructions said to use this seal and not plumbers putty if installing in stainless sink. When I did the leak test, it leaked profusely. I could not tighten it enough to stop the leak. There was no malformation in my new sink. Ended up taking it apart and using plumbers putty anyway. No leaks and disposal is working wonderfully.

Roughly 10% loss of silver by melt weight.
All coins were circulated. I purchased about 25 rolls of $10 face value. About 50% of these quarters had full dates and complete features. Roughly 40% were heavily worn but could still make out the dates and most features. Roughly 10% were severely worn, could not make out any dates, could barely tell they were quarters only by size and shape. When weighed, I found you will lose about 10% of silver when compared to original mint weight.

We use two of these year round in the bathroom stretched over the bath tub. Had two plastic lines with plastic housing. The plastic ones worked fine until they broke. These stainless steel housings are much sturdier, won't rust and are working fine so far.
