A very nice loco.
This loco looks very nice, especially with a rake of 6 yellow D&RGW coaches. It strolled off with all 6 with no problem, so what it's maximum pull is I can't say.

OK but slight disappointment
This item is well up to the usual LGB standard, but is it just me, or could the lettering be better applied? The 'spaces' between the 'body planks' are a little wide, and the lettering does not cover the gaps. The catalogue picture looks really good, but it is presumably a CGI. No blame rests with the supplier, who gave a good service.

Will look great in a long rake.
This wagon looks very nice, but I think will benefit from a weighty load aboard. Empty they weigh just over a pound (just over half a kilo) so might be unstable in a long rake going round a sharp bend. Very good value - especially if you want to buy several! However, now that I have put a rake of 6 of these wagons on the tracks, I have noticed a bit of a problem: The main body of the wagons is made up of 4 big parts and several small ones. The corners are held together by a small strip of plastic with 3 lugs push-fitted into 3 holes. Any attempt to overload the wagon is likely to push the sides apart. Also all hand-rails and ladder rungs are also only push fit, and need checking that they are fully pushed in. I would recommend use of glue in several places. They still look good though!
