Old School
Other tools may be easier to use but used correctly, the classic tapper gives the best results with minimum wear on your tip.

So-so Lighter
It's a well made lighter and will likely last a long time but barely lights a cigarette, especially in very cold weather. You have to rotate the cigarette like a cigar to get an even light. That said, having it around as a back-up when other lighters run out or whatever will be handy.

Knock-Offs
The lighters did not come in official Ronson packaging, felt kinda flimsy, and one of them broke within a few days of starting to use it. I don't think these are real.
