Hammerite 2.5L Smooth Dark Green Paint

Painting with Hammerite

I'm currently painting all the old tin on my barn with Hammerite paint. It seems lovely quality and is going on well. I'm putting it on with a brush so it will be a long job as the paint is thick but worth it for the look of a nice smooth surface. You don't want to go back over bits that are semi dry though as it leaves brush marks. Patience pays off, its much better if you touch up bits once its dry. If it lasts the 8 years it says it will last I will be well chuffed.

Whats not to like?

Good product, easy to put together and a good sharp tool. The orange handle means its easy to find when dumped amongst a pile of other bits and bob and also, here's the big plus, its not massively heavy so if you are a 60+ woman like me, you can still lift the thing and use it!
