Unless transferring contents from the container, this is not fit to be used in public. ,
I got this thermos because I want to stop using microwave at work to re-heat my meals. If used and stored correctly it does keep meals warm up to 7 hours. However, I need more than that out of a heavily used 'food-ware'. I often eat directly from the thermos, and the sound coming from the container when the fork touches the inside is horrendous - it sounds like an old aluminum tin pan - more than acceptable loud clunking noise - even when I use a plastic fork/spoon. It's a bit embarrassing in public.
The VonShef branding on the outside has erased on first wash of the thermos :(
