Mexican Blackletter
I am doing research on the Blackletter font. It was widely used prior to WW II but fell out of favor due to it Germanic associations.
I thought this looked like a possible resource to show the variations and type faces as they were developed in Mexico. The influence of the Latin culture on the letterform.
This is a good photo journal of storefront, truck and decorative examples of the black letter in context but does not supply complete alphabet examples as a typical lettering book would. The examples shown are the street graphics and the letterforms of variations on Old English more than Black letter.
Okay as a reference but not a lettering book for the draftsman.The decision to layer multiple alphabets in an x-ray format gives little information besides an interesting visual.

Most interesting bird book I’ve read
Very interesting and informative book with great photos.The birds, through text or photo come alive.
