It Works (Somewhat)
I've been using this for almost six months now, and I will say it's better than having no stand. I bought this primarily for maintenance on my 2020 Salsa Warbird. This stand works well for washing bikes, beyond that it's really too loose and floppy. However, if you use this stand for washing your bike, make sure to dry it out thoroughly or it will rust!
The pivot point at the top of the stand doesn't lock, and the screw is impossible to get tight enough without modification. I've found that adding masking tape between the two gripping surfaces helps, but inevitably the bike still tips forward.
The other prominent issue with this design is the bolt and wingnut system used for securing the clamp. If you pay $20 more, you can get a stand with a quick release. The wingnut design requires two hands to tighten, while also holding up your bike. Unless you have a race level bike that weights under 20 pounds, you will probably need help from another person.
I would like to clarify that I've been using this stand to grip my seat post. The instructions show the stand being used to grip the top tube. If you have a top tube that is cylindrical in shape, and you don't care about your paint, this stand might work better.
Do you have a top tube with a shape other than cylindrical? Do you care about your paint? Are you planning on using this for more than washing your bike? If any of the following apply to you, spend $20 or $30 more and get a stand with quick releases and locking joints. This stand may work for some, but it isn't adequate for me. Pay a little more and your bike repair experience will be much more enjoyable.

A good game for 2009
I bought this item because I like to collect farming simulator games. It's as expected for 2009, farming simulator has always had five year old graphics. The missions and the up scaled skateboard park for tractors add some interesting side games too.

Way better than expected!
