Always on the ready?

Have you ever gone somewhere such as camping or vacation, sit down to have a nice cold bottled beer, and realize that you didn't have anything to open it with? Going up to spend $5 on a bottle opener has gotten old. I spend at least $50 over the years going out for bottle openers. Well not any longer! I have 10 of these and are great! I keep one in my car, one in my garage, one on my keychain, one of my wife's keychain, and a host of other places. They're great to have, and I never have to worry about being without a bottle opener! I was surprised that they also pretty sturdy.

The Most compatible with Comcast

For price and performance, this is probably the best modem router combination that works with Xfinity. Unlike other modems, this one is easy to set up, and Comcast lets you connect it yourself without having to involve a tech. All you need to do to get it connected is use the app, and within minutes you will be surfing. Keep it mind, it will take a few days for the modem to become fully integrated into your home network. This modem is future proof. Comcast has been using it for years and just can't seem to part from it. That's because it is one of the best modem that Arris makes...pound for pound, dollar for dollar. And best of all, it is quiet, and does not dissipate a lot of heat. I caught one on Black Friday for under $40 and I am so glad I did.

Good Modem/Router Combo

I read may negative comments about the Puma Chipset, and many of those reviews warned "Do not buy." I also previously owned an Arris SVG2482AC that had similar reviews. I think it is sad that a few units can cause an entire lineup of good products to suffer. I have always trusted Arris, and will continue to do so. Arris is one of the few modems that can be added to an Xfinity account WITHOUT the assistance of a tech. The SVG2482 worked fine for me with no issues, and I have had the SBG8300 for about a month now. I have not experienced any issues with this unit so far. I will admit that I was skeptical, but the price of $80 made it hard to turn down. I do not do any gaming, so I cannot speak on the performance in that realm. But I do work from home, and stream 24 hours a day, with no issues, so that is what I base my review on. The router is pretty decent as well. For the price of $80, considering that this modem sell for over $200, I am quite fine with my purchase.
